As the Connecticut Post is reporting, officials in the Connecticut Probate Court system are proposing new reforms to the system which is reportedly losing $20,000 a day.
Such changes seem to include a new judicial payscale based not on the court's revenue but on the work performed.
Such changes will definitely impact small-town courts which typically run a deficit. Probate Court Administrator Paul Knierim, among others, will present recommendations to the General Assembly this Thursday.
